Super stoked on all the progress everyone is having in here!

Bit disapointed in myself. Had plans to get stuck into a fitness regiem before leaving for whistler and it just didnt happen. All that happened was lots of drinking and skateboarding.

Pilates and swim today. Looking forward to no exercise this weekend.

I’ve decided, pilates (machine-based) is a great workout for snowboarding. Really works the legs and core, keeps the joints in good condition, and even helps stretch your muscles. I wish I started earlier but I’ll definitely keep going. I will probably sign up to a pilates class when I move back to Whistler as well. I think a combo of yoga and pilates really works well for boardsports, at least it feels that way for me.

That has been my fitness regime in the build up to Japan!!!!!

Except I couldn’t be bothered skateboarding!!!!!

Poor ass affort of a run from me this arvo. around the 3 or 4 k mark i think. was way too hot so i jumped in the beach then walked home.

had a rest day yesterday, calves still hurting.

tonight: i think the plates are 10kg each.
lat pulldowns - 12x6plates, 12x7plates, 8x7plates.
seated cable rows - 5 plates: 3sets x 12 reps
lever seated high row - 50kg: 3sets x 12reps
lever seated low row - 40kg: 3sets x 12reps
barbell bent over rows - 30kg: 3sets x 12reps
stiff leg deadlifts - 30kg: 3sets x 12reps
barbell preacher curls - 10kg: 3sets x 12reps
dumbbell hammer curls - 2.5kg: 3sets x 12reps
back extensions: 3x10 bodyweight.

- 1 leg hops, 1 steps, 2 steps, icky shuffle, side shuffles

Took the dog on a 4km walk..  down to Narrabeen pool and back, to watch the massive waves just swallowing the entire pool…

3x10 box jumps
3x10 high knee skips (each leg)
3x20 standing hamstring curls
