If ya really happy with The Greats, I reckon a different size would be a great choice!!!!!

One down for a Jib Stick, or one up for a Deep Pow Day!!!!!

There’s a possiblity thanx

Considering what you’ve already got, go for the PYL in a 159, with the 156 as your fallback.

OR, if you’re definitely keen on getting a board for all-round powder AND piste performance, I’ll trade you a brand new Capita Charlie Slasher 158 for a 159 PYL.

Tempting but the 159 PYL is board of choice if I get that I’m keeping it for sure

From what I was told I will be able to pick from a unsold shipment they have coming in that means boards that didnt sell, just did a web search for PYL and its damn near impossible to find, I might need to consider other options for sure The Jackpot, Trouble and Greats but considering I already have the Greats hmmm I don’t know, maybe the The Jackpot is the way to go nice jib/ butter board something I don’t have Orr Trouble it’s got Tragna Mraction and I really like that especially on those icee days and 154 or 158 hmmm I which Yes had flex rating so I can compare hmmm

Or the 420 :D, cuz u can’t have too many pow boards haha

Haha thanks skip always alot of help but laugh all you want but the 420 is unique to say the least but I think the point has been proven about the pow boards but I still think that i need something for big mountain pow sessions I’m hoping The Greats will hold up but in a 156 super deep pow I worry a lil but then there’s the hovercraft if need be grin decisions decisions

Firstly, nice win man! cool grin

There’s no way I would get anything bigger than the 159. The 161 will be unnecessarily big for you. I would even consider the 156; to be honest, that would probably be my pick (at the very least the 156 would be my backup size).

Thanx Rider,

So a definite no on th 161 hu? I would grab the 156 but with already having the Greats in that size is there a point in getting the PYL in the same size? Any other board I should be looking at just incase PYL in gonna be a no go ??

Some that I was thinkin about:

Maybe the Greats in a differnet size 158 ? 154?
Trouble looks good and it’s got Tragna Mraction which i really hope is like megna traction I was thinkin in a 158
The Jackpot maybe seems like a park jib stick maybe 149-152
The 420 even looks tempting it weird lookin but suppose to be sick in pow

Yeah I would forget about the 161.

Well, the PYL and Greats ride differently, so I don’t think it matters too much if they are the same size.

Jackpot as a jib/park board… now there’s an idea!

If I remember correctly you got the Greats in 156 so if could handle the deep pow and ride all over the mountain? It’s been handling the pow fine, right? If that’s the case, I’m not sure why you need a dedicated pow/freeride board. I think the better idea would be to increase the versatility of your quiver, i.e. get something totally different. The Jackpot in a smaller size seems like a perfect idea. But it depends on your intentions.

The Greats handled very well in pow but I haven’t hit any super deep pow yet like Mt baker or Whistler conditions that i will experience in less then a month, the Jackpot is looking tempting always wanted a sweet jib and buttering stick would be nice how short can i go on this board 146-152 I’m thinking

How about Trouble ? What you think about that one ??

I think the Jackpot 152 would be the ideal board to compliment what you already have. I wouldn’t step down to the 149. You could, but I think the 152 will be better for you. You still want it to have some versatility and stability.

Sounds good thanx Rider

I would go with what Rider said about the Jackpot/park board. Unless, you love the Greats so much you could go the same board but maybe bit shorter, again more for park and general cruising and goofing around.

Hey Lester, just making sure - you wear a size 10 boot, right?

Just checking, because the 156 PYL has a 248mm waist width.

Here is the list i can up came up with depending on whats available

1) PYL 159 (highy unlikely it will be available but its my first choice, cant pass this board up,  was considering it in the 156 but seeing is how I already have the greats in that size im going to pass becasue the way I see it if the Greats cant hold up when hitting deep pow or some big mountain high speed lines im going to go bigger 158-159)

2) The 420 148 (im a sucker for new weird tech and seeing is how this is a pow dream board that i can still ride switch, ill take it)

3) The Jackpot 152 (sooner or later i planned on picking up a butter, jib, rail board so might as well get it free)

4) The Trouble 154 (seems similar to me to the Greats feature wise,  would like a flex comparison to the greats but Yes dont have those specs so im gonna hope it right around there maybe a lil softer,  no asym sidecuts but Trouble got tregna maction that is always good,  also might be a lil wider jib maybe hmmm)

5)  The Greats 152 (always a safe bet, ill have the 156 for all mountain and pow sessions and this 152 for the park)
