I cant for certain say when i will be going yet, only found out about this last night and have no savings after Bali/Thailand/Christmas so need to save my arse off

Things have become interesting. Looks as if we may be relocating to Canada for a few months to a year.
She is looking into getting a work sponsor but being a real estate agent, i dont know if there is any demand for them so the other option is we apply for a spousal/partner visa, then spend the following 9 months to a year living together in Whistler until her visa is approved then back home.

just so you know, you have zero chance of getting an aussie spousal/partner visa unless you apply after you have lived together for at the very least 12 consecutive months…so I’d be allowing a year and a half minimum for that process. Takes a little bit to get all your paperwork together and fill out all the correct forms and getting the medical done etc (can only be done after the 12 months is up), then it takes at least 3 months after you send it off for the visa to come through, and if she’s outside aus when she applies, she has to be outside aus when it is granted.
Just trying to help cos it is all in my recent history and it can be really confusing. PM me if you have any questions about it.
