Yep.. my favourite saying for a while has been “I work in retail and have lost all faith in humanity”, so many idiotic, nasty, rude, pushy people put there.. if you treat me with respect.. I will do anything I possibly can to help you.. wether it be ordering in an item or just showing you where something is, or digging through my coolroom full of trolleys to get the box at the bottom with the item you are after..
And things like this just help to cement this… like deano said,, it is and always will be Australia day.. being Australia and all… but c’mon all you had to say is “sorry mate but that is unaustralian.. and here we celebrate out culture and tradition on this day.. and we won’t change that.. Muslims wear burqas in their countries, we don’t make then change it because it offends us.. etc “
DEVO!! At work with hectic sun stroke.. Everytime i move my work shirt rubs on my sun burn.. And i have to run a pallet of cheese load..
seems like my body can’t decide if i wana throw up or pass out.. I just wish it would pick one and get it over with,
and to tip it off i was putting my pallet of chicken away in my cool room.. (quite painfully too) and i just smashed the screen on my nokia Lumia 920, cod my jacket got moved when i lifted the box on to the top shelf, and it fell out of my pocket..
got it 4 days before Xmas… Glad I got insurance on it!!

Devo people believe doctors when they say it takes 6 weeks for a cracked bone to heal and that they can’t work during that time.
Dr’s have no idea I swear!!! (and I live with one (not his patient/diagnosis)).
How does a 19yo, very healthy, clean living and fit person be given the same outlook as a 50yo, overweight, smoker/drinker? A properly strapped ankle or even lightweight cast will get you through a shift FFS!
So instead I have to cover shifts on the same weekend I’m looking after my daughter.
What makes it worse is that they are taking the time and extending their holidays in Byron.
People are selfish!!!!!
The boss is on holidays and I’m in charge so guess who is responsible for covering the slackers…

I don’t even consider that a re-injury would occur, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!
More often than not a healed broken bone is unlikely to re-fracture in the same spot as scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue,
It may heal in the wrong shape or take longer to heal and this is why a cast or splint is important unless you want to reshape your body. Like, say; to hold a video camera after you break your hand or to have your bones be set in a snowboarding stance 
Would you cancel a snow trip if it was 5 weeks after you cracked a bone?
And why do fractures take the same time to heal as breaks, which is the same time for bone bruising?
