Stoked with the picture of the week. Congrats to bran_van for his image of Snow Park, New Zealand. Is it a HDR image?

nixx22, tried to fix your link, no luck, must be your privacy settings.
Here’s a couple of images I took recently with a good friend. We sessioned the park for a little while and then he snapped his board so he borrowed one of the Park Crew’s whips and we went for a look down Pretty Valley for some natural hits. The snow was rough and thin in spots but we still found a little drop to sesh.

snopics - are all your photos HDR’s?
Nah, I haven’t posted any of my HDR’s yet. My posted pics are all tweaked in camera raw and photoshop.
My workflow goes a little something like this;
Open image in Camera Raw
Make 90% of my adjustments here.
Move to PS cs4
Adjust levels
Burn and dodge any areas that need it
Clone out any distractions eg. Bags on the ground, flouro onesies in the background etc.
I then check the sharpness and noise levels
Adjust image size to 800 wide
Paste my logo thingy on and save it to an output file on my desktop
That’s it in a nutshell.
I find that on super sunny days with some cloud cover, after a levels adjustment some images retain really good dynamic range. Especially if shot into the sun with my 8mm lens. This gives the impression of a HDR process I think.
Here’s my contributions, from Hotham’s Rail Jam 3 weeks ago. Loving everyone’s pics, more awesome pipe shots please Darren!

Sorry, have resized images now
hey bish, can u resize your photos? they look like they got chopped. longest edge of 800 will make it fit on a page
that guy stacking on the rail is pretty nuts
i think he’s saying, “unnpfffff!”
far out was that dude on the rail all good?
My contribution for the day. A little from park and a little from pipe. Perisher’s park crew stepped it up on Monday with a 40’ cliff drop topped with a 6mtr flat box.
