I guess you need to use licence-free music (there’s a lot out there) or you need permission from the artists.

My name is Elliot and i am the director of the festival/competition.
You are right, the conditions were pretty heavy and we have since changed them to the entirety of the competition only.
Gaining rights to music is up to the submitter of the film.

Does the video have to have been filmed in Australia? And does it have to be filmed/made after a certain date or can we submit old edits?
