Spaz AUD pricing for the Sony is $328 at Dick Smith for the bundle at the moment. JB HiFi are the only ones selling it anywhere close to $399 that I saw when looking to get my one “again”. GP3 Black also seems to be about $469 at any of the bigger stores if not more expensive. The grey market stores are the only ones getting close to $400.
Not sure what they’re on about with the battery life either, the Sony had amazing battery life but then I never turned on the wifi.

If I listed the price you can get them for (or what I charge) it wouldn’t be consistent and it would take all day researching them.

Yeah there’s a few little bit of wrong info, not just with gph3b.
Generally they have done a good job of keeping everyone happy (unless you where left off the chart) by highlighting the strong points and doesn’t overly play favorites except for including Hero 2 which is 2years old - in a 2012/2013 guide but no other older models from other brands - I mean hero2 isn’t being built anymore!
And why list available mounting? Should be standard mounting.
GoPro doesn’t mount on a tripod without additional hardware.
Black has a worse battery than Sony.
Drift goggle strap is a perfect shoulder strap mount on a backpack and is included.
If I pick out all the problems I see, this post will be to long.

Only adjustable by changing resolution
(ultra wide) 170? - wvga, 720, 960
(medium) 120? - 1080
Silver
Only adjustable in 1080 (ultra wide, medium, narrow (90?))
All other setting are locked in ultra wide.
Black
according to GoPro’s website it is only adjustable in 1080 and 720 (170?, 120?, 90? FOV’s)
All other resolutions are locked in Ultra Wide (170?)
So the short answer is yes.
Spaz I don’t know how it compares to the others but it turns itself into standby mode pretty quickly but when you hit record it goes from off to recording in about 2 seconds. I think the first weekend I had it I got about 7GB of footage and it only burned through about 1/3-1/4 of the battery life. I didn’t recharge it and used it again on my Xmas trip and all of that footage only took it to about half charge with an additional 4gb shot.
So all up around 1.5hrs of footage = 0.5 of the battery (intermittent use - which allows the battery to “recover” a bit).
You would be confident in 2hrs constant use (without wifi).
