What gear were you on? out of curiosity
When that post was written?????
So why is it only Lance got the worst of it? Why didn’t they ask all the other competitors (who obviously are on drugs) to admit that they are all on drugs?
Lance had to deny he didn’t take the drugs or else he wouldn’t be able to compete but he never failed an official drug test. What about Usain Bolt? You guys think he ran the world record while waving his arms is not on drugs?
Drugs or no drugs, these are world class athletes, you can put other people on the same drugs and they probably wouldn’t have won 7 Tour de France (or whatever cycling title he has) titles. To me it seems unfair and ignorant that only Lance got blame and criticism by the public while other cyclists are most likely on drugs too. But hey, everyone has their own opinion.
So if I get pulled over for speeding, and I know that I was, I should get off without a fine because other people speed too?????
It appears we’re supposed to blindly accept that in their “Real World”, all rules should be blindly followed to the letter - and, of course these non-hypocrites have never broken a single rule in their lives. No, of course they haven’t.
Oh I have broken plenty of rules!!!!!
But when I’m called on it, I don’t go tryin to justify my wrong doings by pointing out everyone else’s failure to abide by the very same rule book!!!!!
That is the epitome of hypocrisy!!!!!
As the old sayin goes, “Rules were made to be broken”, but “Play with fire, and you’ll get burnt” comes from the same book!!!!!
Ya gotta take the good with the bad, and it seems that Lance doesn’t think he should have to because he’s such a Legend!!!!!
That’s an unrelated example. People need to make analogy that still relate to the topic. But to answer your question, you should get a fine. No offense Mizu, but that’s a totally bad analogy.
In sporting events, EVERY competitor has to do drug tests and has to pass it. Lance never failed a drug test. But for some reason or another only HIM was being investigated more thoroughly. Just watch if Usain ever got caught using drugs or admit to using drugs the public will persecute him just like they did Lance. It’s great if you compete clean and can beat all the other competitors, more power to you. People view these drugs as a really bad thing, that they use it to gain unfair advantage, guess what in sport like cylcing, sprinting, etc. it’s not an unfair advantage. The public also thinks that just by using the drugs that it automatically gain you 7 tour de france title, break sprinting world record bla bla bla, drugs are not magic pills. Athlete who’s on drugs may even work HARDER than those who don’t in order to maximize the drug they use.
It’s just like in bodybuilding, you use all the testosterone, HGH, whatnot you will not be Ronnie Coleman, heck some guys who’s on drugs look worse than those who don’t.
I keep hearing that every example is a bad analogy!!!!!
So maybe you guys could give us one?????
As far as I’m concerned, if you break the rules ya gotta suffer the consequences!!!!!
Not 100% sure but I reckon the rule book would state that if ya found to have had taken any banned substances, then you will be facin a possible lifetime ban!!!!!
Wether or not he tested positive, he has been found guilty by his very own admissions!!!!! But only after a great deal of denial!!!!!
If I admit freely to an RBT Cop that I’ve been drinking and I’m over the limit, should they let me drive home?????
So why don’t they investigate other cyclers?
Btw, I’m not arguing that he should not suffer consequences (being banned, etc2). I’m arguing that people persecute him just because he took performance enhancing drugs, where as almost all other cyclers do as well.
Do you think that Lance has been the only cyclist that’s ever been investigated for doping?????

You’re really struggling to grasp the concept of what most of us are talking about, aren’t you?
You’re clutching at straws with all your points, most of the time what you bring up just seems irrelevant.
I’m done here.
I guarantee that every one of you who drives has, at some point, exceeded the posted speed limit.
I can also guarantee that every one of you would be really pissed off and feel unjustly vilified if you were suddenly banned for life from driving - due to passengers in your car many years ago simply claiming that they saw you exceed the speed limit on numerous occasions in the past. The absence of verifiable speed camera proof wouldn’t matter, as hearsay and conjecture would be more than enough to convict you in the court of ignorant sanctimony. Never actually being officially caught through standard speed recording methods wouldn’t be taken into consideration - and perhaps the relevant authorities might even claim that as technology has improved so much over the last decade, stored satellite images of you driving many years ago now verify their accusations even though they couldn’t before. Oh, and it’d be just you alone - not one other driver would be subject to this treatment. Sure, you may eventually admit to exceeding the posted speed limit in the past - but ONLY AFTER you are found guilty!
Any one of you claiming you’d just take it on the chin and accept the consequences of your illegal actions is a liar and a hypocrite.

Yep, I really don’t know what you’re talking about!!!!!
Most means a majority!!!!!
At the moment we have 4 for, and 4 against!!!!!

Maybe it’s the “Wool over my eyes”, but I’m pretty sure that Stupid Comparison was in exactly the same vein as other people had used!!!!!
