The STOKE thread
fell asleep under a table on some very uncomfortable object, in some randoms camp, woke up about half hour 45 min later, just before sunrise, thought to myself “wtf mate”, started walking to my campsite (which i only found because i used an app on my phone to save its location), realised i wasn’t wearing my hat, thought f*#k ive lost it, walked back and it was sitting right beside the road
edit: aannnddd managed to get a solid 15 minutes sleep in after that

Feck! thats exactly the same thing I did with my 3CS sock.
Glade you reminded me about the heater.
That’s my main drying (and washing) environment in winter - yes I wash my woollen socks by putting them on the heater overnight to kill bacteria and burn off skin cells - I get 2 weeks of wear before needing soap/water and have toasty warm feet every morning, no fungus and no smell (and I have suffered from both on my feet).
Looks like I’ll be buying a few pairs because - THEY ARE THE BEST SOCKS I’VE EVER WORN!
Got accepted to a one month exchange in the states in July. I don’t think the place is too exciting but at least I get to travel. Down side is i will not be 21 by then….
The socks sound good probably stock up on some when I get home

So had a Skype session with Ms French,
Things have become interesting. Looks as if we may be relocating to Canada for a few months to a year.
She is looking into getting a work sponsor but being a real estate agent, i dont know if there is any demand for them so the other option is we apply for a spousal/partner visa, then spend the following 9 months to a year living together in Whistler until her visa is approved then back home.
Exciting times, now to save my ass off!
