Not to Plan. Park Edit by A Loose Alliance

Avatar

A bit of banter about people taking eons to edit BW shred footage gave me the motivation last night to finish this edit that had been sitting 80% complete for the last 3 months.

Most of it was taken on the Friday of the BW shred weekend. It is mostly A Loose Alliance crew and not too many BW guys besides me and Reddog but there are cameos in the Stacks section from the Olliepop filmer I think and perhaps a few other people (I added the edit from the Shred at the bottom in case you missed that). A few nice BW plugs on this latest clip as well haha.

“Best watched in HD.
Not to Plan- a park edit from Australia.

Getting injured on my 2nd day of the season meant that I didn’t ride much and only filmed on three days, a waste of a season pass!.....hence the Not to Plan title.
We managed to get a few really fun days in the park though!

Music- Default by Django Django”

BW shred edit for those that missed it

As always youtube ‘likes’,comments and subscriptions much appreciated!

Yeah, got some good ridin in it!!!!!

If there was one minor thing that I’d change, it would be the amount of different tracks used????? Just my initial thoughts!!!!!

Other than that, it was great to watch!!!!!

* This is only the opinion of an ageing bald, GoPro usin amateur, Flux lovin punter though!!!!!

It makes sense. That main track was just one that I put in ‘for the time being’ whilst editing it and looking for a better fit. I never found one so I just went with it, otherwise I would never get it up. I have heaps of edits that are 50% done from ages ago that I stuffed around for ages trying to get right and never will finish so I am trying to be a bit less picky now haha.

The other major downfall is that it is all fisheye. I actually had my DSLR with me to film but never went back to the car to get it and the tripod! oh well! lucky I have season pass for next year so I can try again!

what tripod do you have crackers?? i had a cheapish one last season (cost $140 but it was just really light weight and not that sturdy) and if its too windy it becomes useless!! i went to the sunrise shoot at Perisher in oi mate ep 3 and all my shots were just crap and jez wasnt too happy haha

If i learned one thing this season its to have a good tripod lol i recently bought a $300 manfrotto tripod smile

I have a manfrotto, one of my old house mates went overseas and was selling everything and I got it for $50. Bargain!
It works really well, its just fairly heavy and big. I can ride around with it to take it places but its a bit of a pain so I don’t get it out unless the conditions are great. Its not really an option to take backcountry either.

I have a cheap crappy one for that stuff but its pretty bad. another option is a mono-pod. I used a friends telescopic one in Sweden and that was really small and light and much better than nothing but again nothing like the manfrotto.

Thanks K2. Duane crashed and hurt himself so I didnt get that much footage of him and a few others, they didn’t really like there little parts because they are throwing bigger stuff. I wouldve been happy enough with any of the jumps if it had been me haha

And by the end of the day when the cooler bag’s empty, both you and ya tripod can fall down in synchronisation!!!!!
