Where’s The Nose?
They’re a great binding, but they have stiffer baseplate than the TT30!!!!! Great Heel/Toe Edge Response!!!!!
Although they use urethane in the highback, so it has a very soft lateral flex!!!!! Great for butters/tweaks!!!!!
I’d still recommend the TT30’s for that board though, as it’s a great all round mid flex that will suit that board!!!!! (Was once named the Super Titan)
Unless ya want a stiffer, more responsive feel to ya bindings????? Then by all means, the Distortions will be fine!!!!!

I really don’t know which type of bindings suits me better, couse i “enjoyed” only rental boards and bindings.
in my opinion any flux bindings and my new board will be a huge progress!
oh, one more question - does DS30 are new name for Distortion?
The DS30 is a newer version of the older Distortion!!!!!
The newer model uses a slightly softer baseplate than the old model!!!!!
The old model was a 45% Fiberglass/Nylon Blend, where the newer DS30 uses a 30% blend!!!!! Hence the name!!!!!
The DS30 will be a great binding match also, and with the highback being a softer flex, it would be an unreal choice for you transitioning from the beginner stuff!!!!!

Used cartels costs more than new Nitros. The same thing is with K2, Rome or other better bindings. For that price i can cop only some basic models.
How about Rome Mob or K2 Indy? Almost the same price as Nitro.
K2 Indy is a good binding. Baseplate is also a Fiberglass/Nylon. High bac is a soft/med flex. I ride Indy’s atm and am quite happy with them

I bought the Distortion because of the good price. Can’t wait to see them and adjust to my board!

Make sure ya post some pics, and give us some feedback on how both the board and bindings go when ya get the chance to test them out!!!!! 
* And remember that with the Distortions, the asymmetrical high backs can be swapped over left<>right, in order to change the flex if they feel a tad too stiff!!!!!
