^^ I’ll pay that.
2.5hr surf the sarvo, was a bit flat or something as I couldn’t really make anything to save myself apart from a couple of flukey things, one if I’d fully ridden out of it would have kinda blown my own mind but it wasn’t to be. Had a 4km SUP in the morning as well, been a good day.
trying to get back in the swing of things, finding it a bit hard with all the travelling i do for work.
but 3 x 10 squat jumps, 3 x 10 flying romans/lunge jumps (each leg), 3 x box jumps + skip rope.
2 hours riding. Gave up when I tried a front 1 off a side hit, caught my toe edge on the landing (I’m a goofy so I fell down the hill not up it) and winded myself. Ugh!
You really shoulda got back on the horse Cords, when I do that I go back to basics for a while and cruise around concentrating on edge work. Either that or if I’m hungover I crack the sads massively and go get on the cans again.
3x8 squats to curl to press w/12kg dumbbells
3x12 lat pull downs (nfi on weight)
3x12 situps
3x12 dips
3x12 side bends w/12kg dumbbells each side
3x15 seated leg raises
3x10 medicine ball twists 5kg each side

Yeah I did - rode off at first as soon as I crashed so I was out of the way and then sat for a few minutes until I didn’t feel like spewing anymore. haha…then I did one final run through the park (4 blue jumps, flat box and another side hit) then called it quits after that. Plus I was riding by myself and had been out there for a few hours and was getting a bit over it anyway, so the stack was the final straw!
I hate when you stack hard and wind yourself.. I did that.. I posted the video in another thread lol ( I should dig it up…you will get a laugh out of it)
I took Mr.h0zs ridgeback ( big dog) for a jog through the bush track near his house,, then up like 40 stairs and back.. I wore the dog out more than myself!!!
(am not exactly that fit any more.. used to run 5-10kms and bike around 15-20, 2-3 times a week… till I started working 50-60 hours a week with a 40-an hour drive each way..)
So on the way back when I was still going and he was trying to keep up.. I was like woah.. maybe I’m not too unfit.. lol
Fair enough Cords, you need to make yourself do one more run, I did it in NZ after having two rib cartilages broken where they connect to my spine. Actually the only time I haven’t was when I fractured my vertebrae last year.
Mr Hoz has excellent taste in dogs, when I have the ability to get another dog I really want a ridgey, buck the trend around here of every man and his dog being a staffy!
I tried to have a surf yesterday, very hard work, was literally like 8-10” and being a heavy set lad I struggled badly. Didn’t bother trying to surf this morning, went for 30min SUP instead, gave it heaps and came back a sweating mess, I really need to wax the paddle shaft as it’s hard to power through strokes when it’s slippery with sweat. Wow that sounds way worse than it should!
yeh, his family have a ridgeback and a shitzu.. LOL they had 2 shitzus but had to get one put down 2 years ago.. and they have always had ridge backs..(this is the 3rd one they have owned),
and we have a beagle at mine.. i love my beagz <3 hehe when i was little we used to have a border collie and a german shepard crossed samoyed.. (so a massively fluffy white shepard.. was so awesome!)
I had a golden retriever when I was a young fella, had him for 5 years and then he got cancer and had to be put down, apparantly pure breeds suffer from more stuff than bitzers. Next up was a full mongrel dog, everyone had their own ideas of what she was but she was short hair, white and black and looked a bit like a small great dane. I split up with the ex and she kept her though which sucked. Haven’t had a dog since but if and when I get into another house I want one.
^ Nice.
Been doing the usual this week, pilates and swimming. Going to a bikram yoga session tonight.
4x10 squat jumps
4x10 flying romans (each leg)
4x10 box jumps
4x1min bridging
