I just got the 150 Ply today Nthn. Such a sick board - I was freaking out on the chairlift that I had gone too small, but as soon as I started riding and throwing spins that changed and I love it. I’m stoked on it. If you enjoy being able to press and flex easier then go for the Ply as other than the flex, base materials and graphics they appear to be virtually the same boards.
Is that the one with the dj deck graphics on the top, white/red “DC” on the bottom?
. . . unless you were motivated purely by a desire to bait someone but I can’t see anyone in this thread who would do such a thing.
What, like making insulting and monumentally ridiculous statements, directly quoting other people’s insulting and monumentally ridiculous statements, and simply altering the subject matter - highlighting the ignorance in both sets of statements? Nah, I doubt anyone in this thread who would do such a thing.
Anyway, these days I’m all about the cheaper options - and Samsung’s crack team of patent lawyers assure me this is a completely original design:
They even have heated seats in that model!!!!!
So ya don’t get Androids!!!!!

Yeah, Torsteins pro model. Doesn’t matter what size you want, I was just letting you know I am completely stoked with the model - It doesn’t matter what size you get as long as you are buying in the right range. The bigger you get the stiffer it will be but of course if you are a bigger guy you will be able to flex it easier.
That VW looks sick, but I’d still rather have a Hilux!
You have never driven a Hilux then jumped straight into a Rok for a spin
And you have never been to South Africa, Asia, or South America to see that everyone drives Toyotas for a reason. They last.

brilliant..

I’ll start with this - Signal Snowboards have teamed up with Leatherman Tools, and this is the result:
That is awesome. I want too!

Yea ive got the same one, bought it late during the season last yea on sale for $340, sooo stoked with it
I have made no monumentally ridiculous statements, that is your opinion which you’re entitled to but for me its fact.
All the dual cabs are much of a muchness these days in price, Toyota is a few years behind now and there’s rumours there won’t be a new model Hilux until 2015.
Dual cab RRP excluding on roads, duties etc
Hilux SR5 $53,500
Colorado LTZ $52,000
Ranger Wildtrack $59,400
Ranger XLT $55,400
Triton GLXR $51,500
Navara STX550 $63,000
Navara STX $57,000
BT50 GT $53,150
Amarok 420 Ultimate $61,500
Amarok 420 Highline $54,000
Out of those the Hilux, Navara and Triton are a generation behind in every respect including safety. The Navara STX550 and the Amarok Ultimate and Ranger Wildtrack are to my mind really not worth the coin leaving you the cars I would make a choice from. I have looked at and driven all of them now, luckily enough for me I preferred the Amarok even before the dealer told me about the massive corporate discount I get on VW, on further inspection it’s twice as big as what any of the others will give me bar Mazda but that thing is so ugly it’s ridiculous.
VW also gives you unlimited km warranty over 3 years, the Ranger my other favourite does not. Seeing as I only want the car for 3 years but am very likely to do over 100,000kms and I don’t want to be paying for repairs to a VW out of warranty if needed, that’s another big tick. Basically I’m paying less than the others makes and it ticks more boxes.
WANT.

It’s monumentally ridiculous, and highly insulting, to state, suggest, indicate or infer that people buy/use Apple products simply because Apple markets their products well - effectively portraying Apple owners/users as gullible, brainless fools.
And you have never been to South Africa, Asia, or South America to see that everyone drives Toyotas for a reason. They last.
You have me there, i have not been to those places. I have had my share of toyotas, two cruisers, 60 series and a 200 series and a Hilux. (4x4 Toyotas)
The 60 series was awesome, took a hell of a flogging, but it did break and I did have to spend a lot maintaining it.
The 200 series I was happy to see go, I dinted it so many times with sticks flicking up etc while up the bush. It dragged its ass. I bent side steps…...... the best bit was the unreal power and comfort of driving it.
Hilux was mad I didn’t break it (unbreakable I hear) but the flogging I had to give to get places the Rok does with ease was the difference.
I guess its horses for courses, I want a dual cab that is a good around town / highway driver. Reasonable bush capabilities without throwing a heap of coin at it to get it there, great fuel economy, safety features.
When I drove both utes within minutes of each other (car yard side by side) and you look at the $$$ you get for features, drive etc the Rok wins hands down. Maybe I will change my mind in the future, but 45,000 k’s in I am loving it more and more. At this point I would get another one for sure. We’ll see whats happening in another 55k
The Roks are not even built in Germany, they are glued together in Argentina

Soooo I may have just brought 2 of these.. $44.95 each, and $44.99 shipping, from the states. ( so $138 all up, so like $70 each for me and Mr.h0z… not too bad considering its 2 tools in one, and has a 25 year warranty,
If you guys want I can link you… and if you do all want to get one, maybe do a bit of a group buy, and save on shipping by all splitting it??
And thanks chucky for finding this.. very awesome find!!

I think that was TJ mate in this instance but I do think that there is a fair percentage of people out in the Apple world who buy it to keep up appearances, most notably with the Iphone and maybe the macbook to a lesser extent.
Shipping is just fucken ridicules from states
Yep… but if you get 4 people that’s only $11 each.. so not so bad.. works out just over $20 each for me and Mr.h0z.. so better than paying the $45 each..
