Awesome shots Bran_van and SnoPics!
To Gamblor,
Thanks for the help.
I am shooting in RAW with no other in camera adjustments. I have discovered 2 little causes for the snappy colors.
1- When I edit I’ve been merging layers with a layer style added. This is causing the colors to PoP a bit
2- This PoP gets accentuated when I “save for web and devices” in PS Cs4.
I have been doing it this way because the programs I have used previously to compress an image for the web tend to make my blue bird skies look like they have had a wet towel smeered across them.
I am going to try a couple of changes to my workflow and will get back to you with some results.
Cheers for the input

Yep
SnoPics, pickup a copy of Lightroom 3. I started using it this season and it’s been a huge time saver over PS. Copy/paste of settings across images is great. Also has export presets so you can export full size for your gallery/shop and then export smaller for competitions. If your gallery doesnt support watermarking, the lightroom export settings do. Can apply a watermark on every image for you. I use SmugMug so my gallery gets copyright watermark put on every image automatically, yet leaves the original intact for digital download purchases/prints.
In PS CS+ you can enable meta data export when exporting for web. Under your image settings, there is “Convert to sRGB” then “Preview” then “Metadata”. Set Metadata to all. This will also retain the copyrights in the EXIF info that you’ve applied in camera.
Here’s a tribute to the Back-Flip, all laid out in its splendor.

Perisher has raised the bar with a 70’ table to “knuckle of death if your too slow” kicker in it’s Front Valley Slopestyle Park. More pictures to come, including a back 5 double tail grab to knuckle buckle fold tame dog flip to landing.
