That sux mate, lucky you have a good woman to make you do the right thing, otherwise that could get really serious.

Yeh definately! If you go near any high powered magnet/electromagnetic field, the piece could be ripped straight through your head at light speed!

I had that issue with a few pieces of reef after a session out 6ft Redsands, eye was killing me for 3 days until the then gf dragged me to the medical centre at 11pm.

An hour later and my eye full of…shit i can remember the substance they put in my eye to make the foreign objects light up under a uv light, but yeh ended up walking out with an eye patch.

Afternoon all!

Well it happened just like Spaz said it would. They out a gel in my eye and then shone a UV light to find the metal. Turns out there was two pieces in my eye, and also some rust.  confused

It was pretty cool getting it fixed though. The completely numb the eyball, and then dig the pieces out with a needle, then they used like a mini dremmel to sand/buff my eyeball. It was pretty cool to see this stuff going on in my eye, but not being able to feel it.

It wasn’t so cool last night though. My eye was burning like a mofo once the anesthetic wore off, and my eyelid swelled quite a bit.

All good now though!

Luckily no magnets in sight!  LOL

Next time put some fish oil in ya eye too!!!!!

At least that’ll stop the rust!!!!!

You mean I’ve been tipping this stuff into my eye from no reason?

Yeah mate, the calcium is only good if ya fracture ya eye, and the lime is for when ya accidently spill some Corona in it!!!!!
