And your comment immediately reminds me of Top Gear’s 50 years of Bond Cars.
The “Astro spiral jump” from The Man With The Golden Gun was the first ever car stunt to be calculated on a computer.

When I first saw this movie I was unprepared to even consider that sort of thing was possible.
Probably the first time in my life I was left dumbfounded with awe and that stunt has replayed itself in my head whenever I see something incredible be it snowboarding, motoX, cars or anything.

Real car, Real driver (The Mechanic! because the stunt driver couldn’t be there that day).

I guess the guys who make the claim that it’s the first ever unassisted backflip don’t watch MonsterTruck racing.

Maybe for a mini, yes
but again that’s hardly a mini. More of a mini-monstertruck.
