Any other boardworld people stoked on the NHL lockout finally over. so stoked looking forward to the first canucks game, got my jersey washed, n pressed ready to go. stoked.
also new balance launched their skate shoes, thinkin the colors are directed at the canucks. i want em.
Stoked the lockout is over. Go Bruins!
Go Flames!
So what are they going to do about having half the season already missed, just play half the amount of games?
Yeah it will be a compressed season. Probably around 40 games at this point, no all-star game
Playoffs will probably stand at 7-7-7-7 though.
Love the Canucks kicks, marc!!!!!
How much they sellin for?????
Pretty stoked to hear the season is back on. From what I was hearing, it was close to being done and dusted.
Go Canucks Go!

At this stage it appears teams will play a 48 game season starting Jan 19th.
About bloody time. Looking forward to watching some hockey again. There’s only so much NFL & cricket I can watch.
PS - Go Pens.

If you guys were in Melbourne I’d suggest HNIM (aka Hockey night in Melbourne). It’s on generally ever 2 weeks during the season, they record 2 or 3 games and then show them all on the big screen at a pub in the city on like a Tuesday night or Sunday afternoon. Although they may not always be your teams game it’s good to actually have somewhere to watch some games in a pub with other hockey fans.
During the playoffs the pub screens every game live and it gets packed out. In 2011 they even made a fake Stanley Cup and gave it to one of the only Bruins fans in the whole place. Was rather amusing. There were Canucks fans in actual tears in the place.
First session for this season is Jan 27th at 3pm.

This is my one on another forum. Everyone who posts in the NHL thread there changed their avatars for the playoffs last year.
