Love Rally in general.
Would really love to do some Aussie Targa. To do Dakar is the most serious form of racing in existence and takes years of prep and training it’s not really something money and sponsors alone can make happen. But then I like to be competitive - not just take part.

Paris-Dakar-Sydney was the first big overland race and was meant to end in Australia but no vehicles made it past Dakar, it is arguably the birth place of The Dakar Rally. Paris is the birth place of all motor racing.

Accidentally found some costs of doing Dakar.

50K-150k euro seems to be the minimum.

Yeah, its bloody costly, lucky for Miz & I, Boxhead is advancing us 1 million euros AND supplying the truck, so we should be sweet

As soon as Miz is back from Japan and my Australia Day celebrations and over we will get into some serious training (taking time out for The Shred, our Birthdays, Fridays, Saturdays, any public holidays and days starting with ‘T’ )

I guess the trip to each others houses will give plenty of driver training.

I thought the Amorok was a shoe-in.

We will drive the Rok to the start, the long way of course

Boxy will have the race truck waiting there for us.

He will have the truck choppered in with the support Heli - I forgot the email he sent asking me pilot it and set the truck up with 47 onboard cameras.
