GoPro Hero 3, Silver edition.
Was not really going to get one of these new ones, but we got our original gopro out the other day and it was broken. The button to turn filming on and off was stuck in the depressed position. Freddy tried fixing it but it was no good.
Got this Silver at well below the price of them in the shops here on the swedish version of gumtree. We weren’t really interested in the black. We’re not gonna be using wi-fi or apps or any of that crud - just use it the same way we used our old one!
A kid had bought it to film from his RC heli, and before the one he ordered had arrived, his friends one arrived and they discovered it was too heavy for the heli to lift, so he he just wanted to get rid of it. Got it for 2700 kronor including postage ($390aud)
Its charging now - looking forward to tomorrow!

How much do they sell them for in the stores over there????? AU$390 is not exactly a bargain over here!!!!!
yeah I know it has it, we just won’t use it! I don’t really even get why it is that good to have wi-fi on it. Its not like plugging in a USB cable and dragging and dropping is that difficult!
Cheapest we could find in a shop was 3300 kr ($480aud)
Thought about trying to get one sent from Aus, but postage is expensive and it takes time! getting one from the US isn’t easy either, as you’re likely to be hit with import tax that you have to pay…so we were happy with the purchase we made. The kid even sent it to us to look at and check that it works (even though he hadn’t even opened the box), before we even gave him any money. Can’t beat that as a deal, I don’t think!

Got called in to work tomorrow & we’ll work sunday as well. Hopefully we’re not too tired & hungry after work & can go for a shred and take it with us. If not, might have to wait til monday.
and yeah it is…but also he already had our address and phone number. Due to the existence of personal numbers, the cops could just look up who was registered as living at this address and verify with who is registered as owning the phone number! Nowhere much to hide, here - and a good thing it is, too!
Now just get a decent micro SD! At least that fits in an envelope.
