Currently I’m using Ride Meastro bindings they are great only complaint is weight they are one of the heaviest bindings I got, trying to consider my options I want to stick with bindings with canted footbeds because I really like the way those feel for park use. I ride a Bataleon Evil Twin a fairly stiff board so I want bindings that would be a good match for that board. I was looking at Rome Mob boss and Targa or possibly a lighter Ride binding but with the Aluminum baseplates it’s gonna be tough to find that from Ride. Any other companies making canted ?? I know Burton got the auto can’t but I hear its not the same feeling at all.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also hearing good things about K2 bindings any input on those ??? Weight compared to Ride or Rome bindings ??
I use K2 bindings. Have a pair of Formula (bit older though) and a pair of Indys (2 seasons old)
I have been super happy with them. only prob I found is the scews had a tendency to come loose. This has been eliminated with the current models now they are using toolless/locking adujstments. They are (feel)light, and the canted footbeds look good to. The highbacks are good, and the buckles and straps are awesome. The new front toestraps lock on so good, and are light weight, and the ankle ones are cushy as.
My next pair of bindings will be Company, Formulas or Hurrithanes. Cant decide yet
Somethin different hey, K2?????
hahaha
I have to say Mizu, I picked up some(actuallly most the range) Flux bindings the other day in the shop and wasnt really a fan.
and lester was asking for an opinion on them so I gave it. And there isnt a whole heap of brands doing canted beds (I think haha)
And I dont jump on the K2 binding band wagon every time someone asks “what bindings should I get”
K2… Sounds great thank you for the info any comparison when it comes to weight of the K2 bindings compared to other bindings companies just so I have a idea about a weight difference possibly… it sucks that companies don’t provide that..
Also for my Evil Twin which K2 would you recommend a good amount of them have the canted footbed, I’m just trying to figure out should I go on the stiff end or soft?? For mainly park use (jumps mostly) I’m keeping the Rides for All around riding and the NOW for the pow days
Ride, K2, Union, Rome and Burton all have some form of canted footbeds in their binding range. The Burton Malvitas have AutoCANT.
There might be other brands as well but these are the ones I know of.

No worries you ain’t the only that lead me towards K2 only others companies going full on with canted footbeds is Ride and Rome, I can vouch for Ride that make some industructable bindings and I highly recommend for all my freestyle but the weight is up there and I can’t speak for Rome but I hear the same thing about the weight
I hear the auto canting isnt that same feeling at the actual canted footbeds but haven’t tried

I can be wrong but I think union has inserts under the footbed for canting, from what I saw it looks a lil scatchy

Just weighed my Indys and they were in at 867g. Dont know how that compares to what you already have.
Edit: sorry 953 with base plate and bolts
If you want them for park riding, and mainly jumps, you still want responsiveness. If you are planning on tweaking and jibbing you will want something with a bit of play in the high back.
I’d almost recommend the Hurrithanes. I had a feel of them this week in the shop, and they have great rigidity when pushing back into the highback (like you would for turns and general riding), but the also had a lot of flex when twisting them laterally like you would for press and tweaked grabs. The good thing is they werent flimsy when I twisted them, the were very springy.
I believe marc on here has a pair and might be able to give a bit more light on them.
