If I was in a job that paid $3-4 million a year I would probably not give a shit if it cost me double or triple RRP as long as I could have it there and then, that is the benefit and the arrogance of being rich I suppose. Money can’t buy you everything but it certainly helps.

The society I’m talking about is ruled by a government, our government.
By selling this camera at an inflated price is good for society. At the end of the day I’ll spend the money on a local product or give it to the government so they acknowledge I’m part of society. HELL, I MIGHT EVEN BUY MY DAUGHTER A SNOWBOARD.
My ethics are not low, the person that buys this will be stoked.

Some people are going to “hate” on me - just so they can hate.
Others will support me for my energy, resilience, giving it a go and contributing to our little society of Boardworld - just so they can love.

You didn’t buy it solely for the purpose of re-selling at a higher price, that’s good enough for me.
If people want to hate, they should target ticket scalpers - or even worse, people/companies who buy up domain names purely for profit, and the authorities who allow them to get away with it. Filthy, bottom feeding scum.

eBay will bring a much higher price than that.
BOARDWORLD members have already paid $570 so I’m not offended - but beware of offending them or others that are happy to pay more.
I think you strongly underestimate consumers and the demand out there for this product.
I’m still considering keeping it. At least so I have one in my advisory role to people who struggle to operate GoPro but I paid much more for this than I needed too.
If it hasn’t sold after the weekend. I’ll price it so I cover what I lost.

I can understand demand for product, but to pay that much for it that is the part that i don’t understand.
like i said before i don’t understand why would ppl be so stupid to pay almost 100% more then its worth, when in 2 week or 3 from now they can have it for as much as 350.

Nah its like when apple release their iPhone, they have like 12 in the country so people back order them and talk about how good they must be because they are so popular. Its kinda similar with this black edition go pro. That’s what I’m getting at
