Just wear it. You’ll save space in your luggage.

If I had two, I’d take them both. (hear that Santa??).  Winter is never as cold as you’d expect, and for travel the hoodie is way more comfy than a coat.
And pack cable ties. smile a thousand and one uses while travelling smile

A mate did that on our first visit to NZ.

He literally flew in from aseason in Whistler 1 day before hand. got to check in and his bags were WELL over the limit, so he said “F*ck your limits!” and proceeded to put on lots of outerwear, boots, shirts etc.

He got in under the limit, then once we were airborne proceeded to strip it all off and left it in under his seat. The flight attendant laughed (as did everyone else)

Deano, yer mate is a bloody legend!!  closest I came was geting out of Vanuatu, my Shite was a @bit@ over, but I ‘ahem’ kinda sorta ‘cough’ cough’ lifted on the weigh thing with me toe.. had enough time to get balance and GUESS WHAT?! the relative difference (6kg) didn’t cause the plane to crash…...  blank stare It was as if we were putting the band back together….
