I like the pic of DRC’s pillows more than yours Andy!!!!!

Have a blast dude!!!!!

Make sure that ya keep us posted on what’s happenin over there!!!!!

And don’t forget to push Warren’s nose into the snow when he turns up!!!!! (just make sure it’s at least a meter deep, so ya don’t break it)

I’m heading to Hakuba for 12 days from Jan18th staying in Echoland.
Wondering how hard it is to get around the place for grabbing dinner/beers? Is it walkable?

Echoland - you’re in the heart of it! You’ll have no probs

Echoland is good and has everything you will need but venture out to other areas (12 days you will be over the same bars and restruants I think!) but the other areas of Hukuba are not really walkable! So if you want to venture elsewhere there is a local bus but you will have to catch a cab back.

“The Pub” in Wadano is good, they have bands but the food is very westernised (just a heads up)

And I loved the Mexican at the base of Happo-One - Uncle Steve’s (or Something equally Caucasian LOL)

Emu near the train station has great Japanese that is cheap. There are of course other places which are more touristy expensive. (windy for example - but i think the will come and get you and drop you home so that is good!)

Cheers guys.  I’m going for a week with a group of 5 and then another 5 days on my own.  I’ll be sure to get some variety in over the whole trip.

Evergreen in Hakuba don’t stop at my hotel with their free shuttle.

Hey guys,

I know I haven’t posted for a while but I’m just putting the word out that I’m heading to Furano for 2 weeks (1st of feb to the 14th) and then spending the rest of FEB in Tokyo, was hard to get accommodation in Jap after such short notice but I just jagged it!

I got a new Yes. TDF 154 and Uninion Flite bindings specially for the trip, and a pair of smith phenom goggles

I Can’t wait!!!

Is anyone going or ever been there??
