Haha yeah I have the choice of pre-purchasing and presenting a ticket to exchange upon arrival or just buying it from terminal 2 when I arrive.
I’m going for the Flexible 4-day JR EAST PASS which is 20,000yen and can be used on any 4 days within a 1 month period.
I will be using it for Narita>Myoko (NEX, Shink, Local Trains) Nozawa>Shinjuku (Local trains, Shink) a random day in Tokyo (JR Lines) and Shinjuku>Narita (NEX) going but this I should come out ahead. On the other days I’ll just pull my trusty Penguin SUICA card out.

Yep thats the one i did DRC! And i forfeited the 4th day!
Probably still worth it. Our 1 way ticket from the end of our Mt Fuji tour back was pretty exxy.
We could have stayed on the bus but it would have taken longer and we had had enough of the day 
and the train was way more comfortable and way easier to get back to the hotel.
I leave in 21 days to niseko!!!!
