What’s your latest purchase?
Not a purchase, but an early B’Day present! I was rocking these on my Mike McGill ‘Skull and Snake’ board back in the day.
All I saw in my drunky state was 2 eyes and a frown lol.

Been a bit MIA lately because our Xmas rush started Wayyy early at work so been doing nothing but working and getting out at any chance I have for spare time to catch up with friends or go fishing, finally got some time to catch up on things here now.
Got an early Xmas present from the mrs on the weekend

Also got a bunch of accessories for it as well
And then bought a hoist to store it away

Haven’t had a chance to use it yet though as when we went to take it out yesterday the weather turned to crap

Hah I’m definitely keen to have a paddle, I’d be fine with a marlin but if something big and grey with teeth latches on you’re on your own.
I’m on holidays after next week so keen to do all sorts of outdoor Summer stuff before I wave good bye to the sun and head to Japan in January.
Oh yeah bought a new racket the other day so keen for a rematch someday soon in something less than 100kph winds

That is a nice little set up! Kayak fishing is so damm fun. Even fish that aren’t that big will pull you around a fair bit. I got a 1.5m shark on last summer and it towed me about 500m and then round and round in circles.
Kayaks come into their own though in estuaries and creeks where you can sneak up on fish that a boat with a motor scares off.
Kayak with a little electric outboard would be good.
yeah, you can get watersnakes for them. this one has a section where you can mount one on it, been looking at the ones in bcf but still undecided on whether to get one or not
