My guess is there was a child involved.
I went to leave for work on more than one occasion when we lived at Dinner Plain, open the door into the air trap, to find the outside door wide open and three foot of snow blown in 
I have also headed out to the ute to find the canopy open after a certain boy grabbed his board out to it full of snow too.
Why would you do that??? Leave window open?

OK, I’ll tell the story. For some stupid reason I left my car window open overnight (just plain forgetful) and there was a massive downpour/storm all night with high winds. Just so happens that my open window was facing the oncoming direction of the wind. The next morning, let’s just say my car was very, very, very, very wet. All the cup holders and compartments were literally overflowing with water. It took me a good 6 months to get that wet smell out of my car.
