Anything snow related in the Northern Hemisphere is an unacceptable answer!
Last night I worked. I think it was better being paid to stay awake.
Would’ve been impossible to sleep at home since the air-con died yesterday.
Afterwork, instead of driving home - slept at the beach. There were a few people doing the same.
What alternatives are you doing?
Just chilling in staff housing at whistler…..
went out clubbing in the cross last night.. Came home about 3 or 4am.. jumped in the shower then passed out in bed still soaking wet… Woke up about 12:30.. And im now chilling inside I front of the fan in aircon!!
(so my advise.. Get drunk enough and you don’t notice the heat!! Lol)
Was contemplating the beach.. But too hot atm and I won’t be able to drive yet.. So that means walking.. Altho its only a 20-30 min walk… Not worth it in this weather!
Loving this weather! Just spent the day at the beach again. Woke up to overcast weather but when the cloud finally burnt off it turned into another cracking day. Large boost juice for lunch and settling back in now feeling very relaxed.
I went to the bottle shop to buy some beers and just stood in the fridge for a while.
Cleaned up around the yard, cooked a lasagna, washed my van, got the washin off the line, now I’m gonna kick back with a cold beer and watch a couple of snowboardin vids to chill!!!!!
Went to the beach yesterday and got a bit burnt, so I called a home day today!!!!!
Nice tj.
I left out the part of my night of my work being in a nightclub on a beachside town.
It was pretty busy after midnight and many cocktails were ordered, the great thing about mixing drinks is often there is more in the shaker than what will fit in a glass
I finished at 4am but was too exhausted to even go for a swim. Up at 7:30, drive home, found the portable a/c and my fan, showered and slept on the lounge (like h0z - soaking wet).
My dog has discovered the shower recess is the coolest place to nap.
Went for a ride on the motorbike today, airconditioning level based on how far you twist the wrist. Though coming home and getting caught on parramatta road wasn’t fun…You know its hot when your boots start sinking into the road.
My first response was…. go snowboarding in the SoHe. But since that’s unacceptable, and I’m not there yet, I go surfing!
Normally I would say go shopping and stay in the aircon, but we have ducted rc/ac in the new house so now I can just stay home and play ps3!
It was minus 6 here today
Unacceptable Cords!!

Andy - I guess since you mostly surf Umina the current conditions are ideal (and thanks for the correct spelling of un-exceptable)

Oh man, Umina has been FLAT recently. Thankfully they have a skate park there. So if it’s un-surfable I just skate until I start cooking and then jump in the ocean.
I’m hoping the surf picks up soon though, I’ve only had a few good days on my surfboard since I bought it.
I just suck it UP, I live in Victoria so its not like you get that many hot days a year. Just enjoy being able to sweat doing nothing. Surf missions are always good fun this time of year.
Our hot water system exploded on Friday evening so we have no hot water. Which the silver lining is that we are that hot up here that a cold shower is ideal. I have a 10 minute drive to the beach so headed down there a couple of times, stopped at the bottleo on the way back for the freezer.
I’m sure you didn’t carry anything out of the freezer N.Lights!
