As you probably know mountains are great at exaggerating the previous nights snowfall so if your looking to avoid a few tall stories here and there then I recommend saving this number as the snow phone.

It’s a lot more in depth an accurate than the mountains snow phone. Don’t get me wrong the WB snow phone does the job, but if you’re into weather and a more technical analysis of it then save it to your phone now.

I thought it opened Friday. Oh well
Well the time has come. Almost packed, just a few little bits and pieces to slot into the luggage.
Thanks for all the help re: the equipment. Going to check out that 4th street in Van as soon as I get there on Sunday afternoon, then off to Whistler on Tuesday morning.
Looking forward to meeting all those that are up there this season

umm i have no idea if they are even hiring, he has lived in Whis for 3 year now
Unofficial opening day was yesterday. Went out, got absolutely soaked!! It was wet snow and windy mid mountain. Went up today and it was way better, some nice fresh pow. Can’t wait for the full mountain to open! Btw. I have no idea how to post pics on here haha.
Easiest way is if you posted pics on Facebook just right click on the larger pic and get the image URL - then use img tags (availble when you use “post reply” not fast reply.

Going to check out prices of gear tomorrow but most likely will get most of my stuff in Whistler. Will be too difficult to carry up otherwise. Unless of course they are happy to send stuff for me, in which case I’m all in 
I wonder if anybody will give me discounts with the season pass in Van considering I don’t actually pick up my pass until Tuesday. We’ll see.
Seeing as I’m here all season, I’m not dying to get out there on the first day but I’d like to be ready by Saturday for Blackcomb opening.
