Hmm they might be talking about ski in Chucky’s favourite way… Like I ski down the hill on my snowboard
Either way. If I have to do it, I guess I have to learn lol.
I don’t care about that anymore!
So you agree “events” is sport?
Well in the application form, they were different options.

That page seems to think they are different.
Its so confusing!! LOL
I just don’t want that to be holding me up!
Okay hang on - i think under the roles and functions events is
“servicing Events”

That looks more like it. Whatever I get (if I do) I hope I only have to do a certain amount of days so I can at least go boarding on the other days
Just got this email reply.
You have passed all obligatory tests and will be soon invited for the interview. You have chosen “Event service” as a major for volunteer activity during the Games.
We are planning to schedule your interview in December. You will receive an invitation email with all the instructions.Regards,
Department for work with volunteers
Organizing Committee “Sochi 2014”.
Also TJ they specifically say you have to be able to Ski - maybe something you should clarify if you do get an interview. Otherwise we will be teaching you to ski next year!
I sent an email last night to ask what is happening. If i don’t hear back in about a week I will stay at work late one night and call them I think.
Yep. The interviewer asked what my skiing level was and how long I’ve been skiing.

Interesting. I didn’t get that email. I guess different areas handle status updates differently….
I’m not going to Sochi but I just want to welcome dansochi and rob55431 to the forums.
Welcome to Boardworld, guys!
Thanks!

Yep, but you were in Sport, we are applied for events management.
Either way, I can ski… I’m just not good at it. If there is an option to board, I’d class myself as pretty advanced when it comes to riding groomers…

Sick ones. What did you apply for Boardergirl?
