St Kilda Skatepark

Not sure if there is a thread about this already, looks amazing

I wish they had of put a bit of street/plaza around it though.

Gonna be wicked though. Good thing is it will prob take the bmxers away from a lot of the other parks that get over crowded. Will get pretty busy there with people doing transfers on bikes all over the place. Will be fun to ride, but definately have too keep an eye out at all times. Look forward to pumping round endlessly

WOW it is finally happening. Wish it was getting built when the missus lived down there. Would of spent more time visiting her in Melbourne.

Drove past this yesterday, my god that thing is going to be huge.

That’s awesome. We will have to do a spot check there for sure!

Bit of an update video from a St Kilda local

Its all coming along pretty well

the guy who does these clips makes me laugh

Am house/dog sitting across the road from this for the next week.

Just walked past with the dog and things are coming along nicely, was a few people in there using the park.

Will aim to head over and take some pics at some stage during the week.

Is it open??

Not yet, it’s all fenced off still however people are just jumping the fence and skating in there anyway.

Whens it gonna open. Its been under construction for ages now
