Good Wide Board?

I am buying a board for a mate, and he needs a wide board.

what does everybody recommend? who makes good wideS? any ideaS?

Yeah it really depends on what type of riding he is in to, where he is riding, his ability level etc…

What size boots does he wear exactly (could be a mid-wide or wide board)? How much does he weigh? Where does he ride? Knowing these things will help make the selection.

Nearly all snowboard companies (if not all) make good wide boards. If you can provide a bit more info we will be able to help you better. 

Nitro do some pretty dam wide boards. But as everyone has been saying companies do boards according. Boots are starting to get smaller foot prints now so it makes it easier to choose now as well.

How big is is shoe size that he needs a wide boot?
