YES TDF vs Signal OG vs Capita Stairmaster Extreme

Avatar

Hi looking for feedback on any of these boards has anyone ridden any or all of these?

The YES website says the TDF is a “Reverse Banana” but I’m pretty sure this board is regular camber. graphics are meh… but it makes a good sticker base. I especially like the waist width 24.2 and 24.5 in the 150 and 154 respectively.

Capita Stairmaster Ex is a little wider in the 152 at 25.2cm but I think that’s similar to my DH2, stepping down to the 148 will be fun but probably a little short for all mountain riding in Oz.

Signal OG have no idea on this boards flex, or it’s durability, had a mate in canada snap 2 Omni’s in the same season… but that was ages ago. waist width looks good in a 151, 153 or 155 and so do the graphics.

I’m coming from a Bataleon Airobic 151 and a Ride DH2 153 zero camber. I loved the flex on the airobic but it went too noodly pretty quickly (it had a flex rating of 2), the DH2 still has a bit of life left in it but I never got a lot of snap out of it. Ideally I’d like to find something like the DH2 in a regular camber and a little softer flex maybe a 4 or 5. waist width of 24.5-ish, between 150 - 155 length. prefer regular edges - no bling. research has given me these 3 but I don’t know anyone who’s ridden them so your personal experience/opinions will be highly appreciated. Also any other suggestions for boards will be considered too.

Yeah, “banana” is rocker, so “reverse banana” is camber.

I have last year’s Signal OG in 157, regular camber.  I think in this year’s model you can have regular camber or flat.  I thought mine was a nice ride, quite light and mid-stiff, had a bit of chatter over the bumps.  I’ve only ridden mine about 4 times so can’t comment on durability.
