Didn’t you try and turn it into a jpeg that was too large?
Paste that into word. And compress

Open PDF. Then Run the snipping tool.
Take a screen grab of the image and save as a JPEG.
Save it with paint.net (or paint) as a new JPEG
File size should be less than 100kb.
ok the pdf is magazine page that I scanned ages ago and saved it as the PDF.
Ok in that case then I think we’ve all jumped to a more complicated method than is actually needed.
Simply select the “take a snapshot” option in adobe reader.
Highlight the bit you want to keep (if it’s the whole page select the whole lot)
A popup will then come up telling you it’s copied it to the clipboard
Paste it into your photo editing program of choice
Resize and compress as jpeg
If you need to send it as a pdf instead of jpeg recreate the pdf in a free program
I’d be surprised if you can’t get that under 500kb

The third one as a PDF is prolly the best, as the first one I did was reduced wayyyyy too much, and the quality suffered severly!!!!! Nearly blinded myself tryin to read the text!!!!!
