Didn’t think I would be that interested (was waiting for the next Galaxy) but the Nexus 4 phone for $349 or $399 seems to be a steal. Feature packed, wireless charging, NFC, quick, stock android and only really missing LTE.
The Nexus 10 seems to be in direct competition with the new Ipad. Super high quality screen, NFC, powerful cpu/gpu. I just wish they’d included a microsd slot.

I wouldn’t get the LG phone but the Nexus 10 looks awesome. I really want one but I’m worried the dual core isn’t enough compared to the quad core in the Nexus 7. Any ideas why they didn’t go Quad?
Then they go and double the RAM compared to the Nexus 7.
Guess I might be waiting for Asus’ 10” Tablet…

Yeah the whole LG thing is a worry but the specs/price are very impressive on the phone.
Apparently the dual core in the Nexus 10 benches better than the quad in the 7 and overall it is the fastest of the 3 devices (will look for proof/source soon)
I’ve been waiting for the Nexus 4 phone, but very disappointed about no 4G. Will probably skip it and get the Samsung S3 4G now.

Yeah 4G would be great if you are in an area with coverage (very limited areas at this stage) I suspect I will go through a couple of phones before we are at the stage where 4G coverage is acceptable for me. Hopefully by then they have a better chip designed for it as well rather than the suboptimal implementations in the S3 and I5.
I remember when people were up in arms when the S2 didn’t come with NFC, I can’t say I’ve ever missed it. Sometimes it takes a while for the infrastructure/general public to catch up to the technology.
Yeah I both live and work in areas that have 4G coverage, so would strongly prefer it. I’ve also found the 3G network quite congested at times. Still, if I could get it for $400 here I’d have to look at it.

Yeah in that case 4g is definitely worth considering. I’m also waiting for optus to make 4g available to other compainies that share the network (liveconnected, amaysim etc)
The price certainly is competitive. Lots of discounts available on the N7 hopefully it’s a similar story for the N4 and N10
