Oh man f@tony let me know when you aren’t going to post so someone else has a chance to get photo of the week!! your pics are off the chart, nice work!!! Do you shoot for magazines or anything or just a hobby?
Fark yeah Tony, and fark yeah Georgie!
Photo of the season right there, with a method like that!
Tony, if you see Georgie, tell her hi from the random guy on snowco that sent her a pile of snowboard dvd’s a few years back
hey thanks all for sharing the stoke..i know the action is where its at but still havent been able to get the time off, hopefully when this next storm blows over we can show off some of the turoa crew…......
this shot is looking along the ridge towards Tahurangi the summit of mt ruapehu…..with a glimpse of the back glacier…(again another solo hike so no action shots)
Awesome photos this week…
f@tony, do you have a larger version of your last photo? If it makes it onto the homepage, I will have to stretch it to fit. Need it at least 576 pixels wide.
I’m just doing this as a hobby at the moment. Bought my first camera last year and have been hooked since.
Yeap, have larger copies of all photos. Will send it through if you need on monday.
I’ll also say hi to Georgie for you. En Zed. She’s fully killing it on those massive kickers in the big park.

dude, if that method is from a massive kicker you gots to show it or you’re not doing justice to her
That was the first kicker which is just a step above the little park. Unfortunately its the only one that is orientated in just the right direction for the sun.
Today at Hotham, puking like theres no tomorrow (well by Aussie standards) my boys scammed a bungee for take off.

The pic above of Munga was the closest I have been to getting drilled for awhile, he missed me by a bees doodle. Almost needed a new camera!!!
Was awesome to see the boys going so big for 12 & 14 year olds.
Tambazz, you need to get that flash off your camera. Lights up the snow too much like that. If you’re using Canon - haha… get a set of pocketwizards. If you’re using Nikon just switch to remote flash mode (Menu -> Bracketing/Flash -> Built-in Flash Mode -> Commander)

So much fog and rain you couldn’t use any sort of flash or strobe. So glad i have a full frame Nikon, just crank the ISO to 4000!

Hey Mark, yeah we have Canon’s. We shot a lot of photo’s yesterday, both with and without flashes. We liked the ones with the flash because it shows how much it was snowing, rather than hiding it.
What are these pocket wizards you speak of? I can run two flashes remotely off the camera. We wanted to do this yesterday, but with the snow that was falling we were struggling keeping stuff dry as it was. We want to go back for a night shoot and use the flashes.
Any suggestions for what settings we should use?
Photos of the week have been posted to the homepage. It was really hard picking again this week - great photos from everyone! All photos go into the final vote…
Congratulations f@tony and Mark Harris.
