Made this vid with it. A lot of it shot at 720, 120fps.

Thanks cords an interesting vid, they sure loved the slow motion!
Not as blown away by the PQ as I was with the GP3 but that could also be skewed by the high budget production.
Certainly going to be an interesting year coming up for action cams. Competition is good!

just got a tricky dicky’s catalogue today advertising them at $398 including housing and a spare battery.
If the GoPro Black is comin in at ~ $440 like Mud said (I’m sure it was Mud?????), I reckon I’d go the GoPro!!!!!

Yeah there was a comment on Whirlpool about braaap having it for that price, haven’t checked it out.
yeah I’m by no means advocating choosing this over anything in particular, I’d love a Gopro Black, myself - just knew some people had shown interest in what this cam was like so thought I’d post up what I’d seen about it.

Peeps will buy what they wanna buy!!!!! SONY is a quality brand, and I’m sure that these cams are solid!!!!!
... but that could also be skewed by the high budget production.
I would pref to judge them on smaller scale than big budget as I will never achieve what GoPro do!

The only trump card for sony is 720@120fps (same as GP3black). Otherwise not a highly recommended cam.
