I think it doesnt matter in either case. They are still raising awareness for the cause and rasing money.
Dont see a problem if he already has one, or has one growing before the start date.

I have never donated money to anyone who has only dye their hair.
Both my parents have shaved their heads for the cure - i myself am to vain so more than happy to donate to anyone who does do it.
I personally do not want to donate money to someone who does “nothing” so to speak - I have 3 or more mates who grow a moe every year. I donate to them.
I was planning to shave my dreads for charity… but I had a wedding like a month before the date and cut them off for that instead.

I am happy to agree to disagree! I totally understand what your are saying but for me there has to be somewhere to draw the line otherwise I would be broke donating to everyone who asks for it!

yeah I’m with ozgirl on this one. I’ll happily give some money but I’ll have various other mates to give to who aren’t just going about normal business.
