Drift has better colours / GoPro a little sharper.

That’s an interesting comparison. Have you played with the water housing from GoPro? Apparently that improves the colour ten-fold. I would be keen to see how the Sony Action Cam rates against these.

I don’t know how the GoPro housing changes the colour! It really just adds a lens that allows it to focus unless there’s a gel filter (polaroid).
Where did you hear that?

JVC have also entered the action cam market so it’s game on now.
