Oh god you get proform on Artec? Would advise you to check them out, but it’s not common to find them anywhere to do so.

Yo Skip
Just a reminder bro. It’s better not to talk about Pro Form on the forum (only pm other instructors about it).
Some people get a bit annoyed when they have just bought a board full price and we get it cheaper.
It’s not a rule, more just an etiquette I guess. Not to nag or anything

@SamNZ: Why would you choose the Jibsaw over One Mag?

Has anyone here ridden the ride dh2? I have the chance to get my hands on a 2013 model. But as I have said before I am clueless about gear. It’s a 158 so a little bigger than my 56

They have a different core style and the Jibsaw has a better base. The jibsaw has a symetrical flex pattern where as the One is directional. The Jibsaw also has 60% camber in the profile and the One only has 40%.

@sam: have u demoed the jibsaw? Personally, I prefer a directional twin board if possible with a set back stance since I don’t ride park and switch that much + it’s gonna float better in pow :D

yeah I demoed the Jibsaw this season, loved it. Fair point, then the One would probably suit you better - I usually prefer a twin all over the mountain and in all conditions.

@Sam: How do you find the flex? Rossi states it’s a 7 but a lot of review says it’s quite soft. I’m starting to consider the Jibsaw now haha.

Rossi rate their boards too harshly. For instance, the District is possibly one of the softest boards I’ve ever ridden. The one I rode was being rated at 4, when I would rated it at most a 3.

I would rate the Jibsaw at maybe a 5 or max 6. Being a park board it’s definitely not stiff, but a mid flex - I had no worries pressing it.

To be honest man, you should wait until you get back to Canada and have the chance to get your hands on boards in stores or on snow before you settle on or order anything.

Yep, will do. I think now I’ve narrowed down my choice to 156 YES PYL and 156 Rossi One Magtek.
