I loved Lost, but those final few episodes really killed it for me. Especially the very last one - what a pathetic copout!!! I felt completely ripped off - and as far as I’m concerned, I would have preferred to never have loved Lost and lost, than ever to have loved Lost and lost at all.

I finished my letter to the insurance company today - when you read it you can’t help think that surely the f#@ked up and will pay me but we all know how friendly insurance companies can be so trying not to get my hopes up :-(
How long were you without insurance? TBH insurance companies are bad even when you have a 100% legit claim. Fingers crossed for the best possible result.
Over 6 mths - I know it doesn’t look good but they have also broken the law by not advising the finance company.
So they may pay up to avoid any repercussions from that fact.
Thankfully my boss used to be a lawyer (and his wife currently is a practising one), he is with me all the way to the end!
Maybe, hope it goes well.
Hopefully knowing a lawyer pays off. My bro’s GF will be a lawyer soon and I got a friend who is a lawyer so I can always find advice if needed.
My dad does HR and Industrial Law so there is more help if I ever need it lol.

I dont wanna be the bearer of bad news, and I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure it’s your responsibility to keep the car insured, and the finance mob/Bank to make sure that their interest is covered?????
But the onus is still on you if something happens!!!!! 
You could stop paying the finance mob… Tell them to repossess it lol.

Yes I suspect that’s what the finance company will fear I will do! And therefore hopefully help me fight the insurance company!
Mizu they did more than that wrong and yes it is my responsibility but we have heaps of prof that they f’d up in other ways!
But from everyone in the industry the insurance company IS responsible for advising the finance company. It is why Insurance ask you to declare that info!
The main problem with doing that though is that it will ruin your credit rating. And therefore make it almost impossible to get loans in the future.
