I’m bored so this random thought came into my mind. If you could have only one board for the rest of the season what board would you choose? Ideally it’s a board that you’ve had before or at least demoed.
My pick would be a 153 T.Rice with C2 rocker or a 156 Rossi One Magtek (but I’ve only demoed this board so can’t speak how it would do in variety of terrain).
EDIT: Forgot about the YES Pick Your Line. 156 PYL should be good too.
It pains my wallet to say it, but im leaning towards the burton nug. I demo’d one this year and loved it, and from all the research ive done, it seems to do everything id want a board to do in pretty much all conditions. I’m so close to buying one for japan after reading reviews on its powder performance (even a few from on here)
Hey trendy, if you’re buying a new 2013 then look hard at the Root. It was the directional nug of last year. The graphics are pretty heinous but the ride is amazing. It’s slightly better than the Nug. If the Nug was a 9 out of 10, the Root would be a 9.5.
One board quiver for me would be a Sherlock (but you all knew that, just like we know skip’s was going to be the trice, and Mizu will insist on Flux bindings)
Mine would be any board!!!!!
As long as it had a pair of Flux Bindings attached to it!!!!!
Torpedo7 actually had the 2013 Sherlock on sale for $360 the other day!!!!!
YES Greats.

I’ve only ever ridden 5 boards in total and none of them would be my one board quiver.
I have a feeling that the Bataleon Evil Twin might be it though.
T Rice 157. Interested to have a go on a DC Mega and Ply in 159.
YES Basic 157 (sintered, not extruded base).

I would’ve agreed at the beginning of the Thredbo 2011 season, when I started riding my Nug 150 during all the awesome snowfalls we had in July last year. By the end of the season, nah.
One day in particular when the snow was a lot stiffer, I was having a terrible day riding my Nug, but instead of giving up and calling it a day, I switched to my cambered Vapor 159, and ended up having an awesome afternoon. I didn’t ride my Nug at all this 2012 season.
Hmm a lot of people seemed to be liking the Nug a lot. I demoed it 2 seasons ago and I didn’t like it at all on hardpack snow (spring morning type groomers). Not sure if the edges been detuned or not.

ahh thats interesting. I was mainly planning on using it in japan and the odd day here and there in oz, and after reading this, i guess it would be conditions dependant.
Ive got my evil twin for everything else
What does he ride?????
