So I bought a new couch last night, everyone left me so I put it together myself.
They suggested 2 people. I proved them wrong

Now to wait till tomorrow to watch the big race and hope for a blue podium!
Nice couch, Holden 1 & 2
Top ten shoot out about to start. Looks like it might rain…...
Should be interesting
Looks like it might rain…...
Gee there’s a shock!
But it didn’t
hoping to see these two on top of the podium at the end of the day tomorrow!

Sooo close. The bottle-o car was punching well above it’s weight!
Great finish! Went out to the beach today and got home with 3 laps to go
Watched a little bit of the taxi race today but was disappointed by the lack of rain/crashes.
Switched to the F1’s when they kicked off as it’s always interesting to see how many spots Webber can lose on the first lap (he outdid himself today!)

I’m less than 5mins walk from the beach and I didn’t even bother today I want 30 degrees weather back!
Did witness some pretty impressive sets rolling through at Cronulla point though.
Had to leave for work with 10laps to go.
Prior to that;
Missed the start (because I was at the beach).
Fell asleep in front of telly for most of it (because I partied all night).
Ford vs Holden is a crock! Not one of those cars resemble a Ford or Holden under the panels.
BRING BACK THE REAL BATHURST
a 600mile manufacturer race and pitted big V8s against 4pot screamers, rotory tuning, boxer engineering.
that’s when the Bathurst track shines; hill climb, corners and high speed straights all in one endurance event.
Each car has its specialty and drivers did more than pilot million dollar vehicles.
Even a 90mph mini cooperS could hold its own against a 200mph Falcon in that race.
What happened to the Bathurst 24hr?
The masters race was epic on Saturday
didn’t catch any of it. I don’t mind motor racing, just don’t really see the appeal of v8s. Agree with spaz’s sentiments. V8s are big, heavy and lumbering and would get spanked by smaller cars.
