Jumps jumps and more jumps that’s what my main use for this park board, I would also like to hit some rails into jumps.. Presses and butter around a lil… But mostly jumps.. I’m sure you guys saw the other topics where I planned on going with a Bataleon board (Evil Twin) for park but after more and more research edge hold on those things is not looking good.. same for Rome Nohang-ups and considering how the parks around hear are hardback and ice that’s a big factor.. Any one have any favorites when it comes to park? I want something with some forgiveness but that could take a beating.
Looked at Capita line they got a few that stand out… Defender of Awesome and Indoor Survival… Mainly because of their camber profile had some camber in it which I hear is good on those jumps an obviously great for pop.
I think the Evil Twin will do you just fine.
I was set on it but its not like one review it’s a bunch of people telling me different, all say edge hold is not there
rome artifact. i use it. its awesome
rome artifact. i use it. its awesome
Hmm just Reg Cambet right ?? Any issues catching edge on those sketchy landings ??
If you get reverse camber you’re more likely to wash out on a sketchy landing on a jump
if you get regular camber, you’re more likely to catch an edge on a sketchy landing
If you get a TBT - I don’t know as I’ve never used one, but I’ve seen them used plenty on jumps and they seem to have sweet pop and are an all around good park board.
Everything has its pros and cons, there isn’t any board that anyone can recommend you that won’t have one drawback or another.
Shit you said it Cords
That’s why I was looking into Bataleon avd Rome because of that TBT stuff thought it was a middle ground to these downfalls hmm that’s always gotta be a catch
find the Artifact really lacks pop ..well the rocker one anyway
haven’t played on the camber one
but cords pretty much summed it up
all boards have cons which are proportionate to the pros
Hmm well that sucks
I’ll look around worst case I’ll find a cheap board because I have a feeling I will destroy it in no time
if your after a beat em up board
i would go capita stairmaster extreme (ultrafear if you want the FK) over indoor
...if your looking at capita anyway

yeah I really don’t wanna do tradition camber cause that’s really gonna hurt on the scatchy landings lol but u saying the ultrafear over the indoor hu. .. The only reason I thought the indoor would be better because it have camber between the bindings the Ultrafear is flat (less pop?)
hmmm
just checked out ...they’ve changed it again
i thought the camber profile is the same? they both freestyle FK
colloquial hearsay
indoor = slightly narrower…more aggressive riding board than ultra
indoor
156 effective edge 1166 waist 25.00 29.45 side cut 8.00 25
Ultra
155 effective edge 1180 waist 25.50 29.91 side cut 7.90 25
just thinking if your park oriented…something more mellow…
<<<...not a park rider…more a numbers man
Thanx for the info and specs yeah mellow is good especially on those fun landings lol
the reg artifact is heaps poppy. well i found it to be anyway
I’ve ridden a battaleon and while the edges take a couple of runs to get used to, it’s the same as any board, especially nowadays with all the different types of rocker out there.
I think you’re overthinking this. You have an idea of what boards you like, pick one and go with it. You will get used to it. What did you do with your hovercraft btw?

What ungodly nonsense have you been fed on other forums.
