I meant bound to the tv as in being bound to be home and/or not busy on a particular night at a particular time because a frign tv show is on! Can’t think of anything worse.
And I don’t own any kind of recorder.

I am not bound to a certain night either (never have even before there was downloading I had a VCR and 8hr VHS tapes!). I just downloaded Private Practice and not watching it now. But it is sitting there for when I am ready?
Not sure why you would wait til the whole series is complete and available for download… thats all. In this day and age especially you shouldn’t have to wait that long!

haha yeah but I only ever do it on a pissing down raining outside day. I don’t care if I wait forever, I enjoy TV but I can live without it fairly easily. It wouldn’t matter if i watched 3 episodes and then didn’t see any for months.
Most of the shows I watch or have watched I’ve heard are good from people whose taste I trust. I don’t watch ads or read magazines or whatever to find out what is on (as u noticed I had no idea homeland season 2 existed) I’m sure I’ve missed decent shows that way but I’d rather do other stuff nearly all the time. I only got on to Downton in the july uni holidays and i watched both seasons, xmas special and behind the scenes over a few rainy days.
HIMYM was good this week.
New Girl was funny as all hell.
Planning to watch 2 Broke Girls tonight.
Looking at all the new shows this season and they look pretty average :(

Only watch one TV show a the moment. The Bridge, Wednesday nights on SBS two. Its a Swedish/Danish Crime series and its so damm good. Too late really to catch up as it is 4 episodes in but if you see it on DVD or repeated its worth watching.

Good to hear New Girl’s back I am psyched for the return of Community. Currently 3 episodes away from finishing Skins. Next on my to-watch list (in no particular order): Awkward., The Fades and Parks and Recreation.
Has anyone watched Homeland? We are hearing a lot about it and they won a lot of Emmys recently?

I also think Damian Lewis is the most handsome man with red hair that I’ve ever seen. He totally won me over in Band of Brothers + he is hilarious in the move Your Highness with James Franco. (that is a really silly movie and I think it is fun that a guy who has done mostly very serious roles can be fun enough to do that!)
Anyone watch Breaking Bad? My friend keeps telling me how much I would love it. Going to start watching it.
