If it’s under the weight allowance, how will they know if it’s one or two boards anyway? They normally just weigh and then tell you to put with the other oversized baggage. Are they going to search all board bags??? I’ve never had mine searched.

yeah have never seen anyone been pulled up for having more than 1 board in bag

its there on the T&C though so there is possibility they could pull you up on it….highly doubt they would bother doing that though…its not RyanAir or tiger

They can, and I have heard of them doing it in the past!!!!!

They will even tell you to remove clothing etc etc, as it’s not under the terms of the policy!!!!!

Ya might be lucky, like I’m hopin that I might get past checkin with JAL, but as long as ya aware of the rules at least ya can be ready for a contingency plan!!!!!

I like to be prepared for everythin!!!!! I even pack extra undies when I travel!!!!!

nice one. hope it works out for you. some of the rules are pretty anal. I can’t remember which resort it’s at but the free pass you get is sewn into your instructors jacket. So if you want to ride on your day off, you still need to have your resort jacket on LOL

I have heard that gettin a ticket to the Sumo’s is near impossible?????

Although I have never looked into it myself!!!!!

Sumo season is November ish, I went a couple of years back.  We just got tickets at the door.

My plans are pretty much finalized.

Fly into Tokyo from Melbourne on the 31st of December.
Tokyo for 5 nights.
Hakuba until the 13th
Sapporo for a couple of nights
Off to Asahikawa on the 15th until the 25th/26th
Probably hit up Asahidake, Kurodake, Furano, Kamui Links etc

Sooooo pumped to get my backcountry on.
