I think we will be making the most of the cheap accom at the station next year that goes along with the freedom pass!

...pubs are all close and easy to get to….. none of this skitube/over snow transport crap!!!!

The parking/tube/oversnow crap was annoying.

Driving to/from The Station all season has been a breeze, and the pub/club is just a stone’s throw away.

definitley agree with Chucky, ive had no trouble driving to and from the station to perisher this season…loved it! we usually have some friends with us on the trip to share though but they know they have to be up when we are otherwise we’re leaving without them which usually gets us up there for firsts lifts if not just after…considering the drive to the guthega carpark next season a few times for something new

agreed with all of the above. Stayed at the station this year for the first time and it was tops. We were there before first lifts on both mornings.
Would be perfect if they had microwaves in the rooms - that is the only gripe I can think of! If i was going for a week, I reckon I would bring my own!

Yeah, as popular as the Shred was this year, I reckon even more people would have shown up if the cost had been more universally affordable. You even get 15% off all food and booze at the bars and eateries with your Perisher Freedom Pass!

We’ve had a portable kitchen set up in our rooms - a toaster and two electric hotplates. A microwave would have been overkill. Bacon/eggs/sausages/hamburgers/ steaks/pancakes etc. - the Ron Swanson Diet! Yeeeewwww!

Thredbo have new management and a new marketing team. All those idiots I dealt with last year are gone. Thredbo have actually been really good to us this year, apologised for everything that happened, and they actually really want to work with us next year. I have a meeting with them on Tuesday to see if we really are on the same page. Thredbo was sick for the Shred. Loved it there and the River Inn where we stayed was awesome! It was just the idiots I was dealing with that made it so painful. Will keep you posted.

I have missed the point why/what were they idiots has done last year?

Glad to know they kicked idiots out…. keep us info cheese
