^That, the cost of tape and the time it take to put on of a morning are the reasons I get 2-3 days out of it.
I shaved my knee at the start of the season - for some reason little hair has grown back. 
Strapping tape takes off more than hair and often lifts off small chunks of skin if torn off quick, it has to be removed slowly, consistently and painfully.
Thank Ullr for paper and cloth tape that reduces tearing off skin!
