Tickets to Japan..
I just checked bestflights.com.au and there is some good airfare prices on direct flights to japan.
Jap air has tickets for $1216.01 including taxes in Feb direct flight sydney tokyo/tookyo sydney
same as Qantas for $1210.01

Jet star has direct flights leaving in feb 2013 going for $1,083.73 included taxes +20Kg extra,

What I did was
Go to qantas web site and go from there it will transfer u to jet star site.

interested to see if jetstar flies direct from sydney
they have vested interest to drop people off at sunshine coast
cause they round up everyone across the country and fly one international flight from there

dont fly air korea unless you have to~ (seems the cheapest at the moment for Sapporo)

Just to let you guys know, JAL have a baggage size limit of 203cms total combined dimensions!!!!!
So ya have to pay US$150 each way excess baggage for int, and US$50 each way for domestic flights, if ya gonna take ya board with ya!!!!!
