Have a ripper trip mikal! Enjoy the new gear. My theory with gear is treat it nice, wax it prep it then ride it like you stole it! 
Thanks mate…. Do I need to wax a board when it’s new? I’ve read different ciews on this, some say do, some say they come waxed fine to start with.
I’ll ride it like it stole it though! But that just means I’ll more than likely eat shit trying stuff I’m not good enough to do 
Haha just means have fun with it and ride hard (within ur ability tho) and don’t be too precious about the board. Don’t mean trash it, but enjoy t for what it is! Only way u progress mate is pushing urself 
With waxing. It will be fine the first few rides. You won’t notice the difference too much of ur pretty new to boarding. I’m fussy with waxing frequently so I peob would add a fresh coat. But really no need straight away

No worries, I’ll ride it for the week and learn how to wax before I go on my next trip I think… Thanks for ya help

Enjoy Mikal! Like k2 said, you don’t have to and you shouldn’t notice it too much but it’s all personal preference. I just got a new board in and am jump going to put a fresh coat on it mainly for protection But then had another mate who drc knows ran on the factory wax for a couple of seasons

haha yeh. I would have survived the boat is worth $1500 not to mention the time that has gone into modifying it
