anyways ...took note and turned off other crap people have advised in forums (siri/mail exchange etc)

But you can’t blame a phone for poor battery in regional areas such as Jindabyne when it spend all day trying to find a signal!

Totally agree with the purpose of having a smart phone but like oz suggested; in Perisher/Thredbo/Jindy the service is so poor that alone defeats the purpose of a smart phone.
so who’s getting the iPhone 5? I’m tossing up but leaning towards the 4G Samsung GS3 when it comes out soon, depending on a few factors like battery life and price. The iPhone 5 is a solid upgrade but not amazing, and the price is pretty steep.
Yep as expected pretty underwhelming. I’ll stick with my GS2 the latest jellybean software update has breathed new life into my GS2 and Xoom and as much as I’d lke to upgrade to a GS3 I really can’t justify it!
I can justify it since I’m on an iPhone 3GS. Currently looking at SGS3 4G, new Motorolas, iPhone 5. Not sure I can see myself forking out $1K for a phone, though.

yep almost add another 200 and you got ur self return ticket with 20kg+

yeah that’s the top-spec 64G memory model. subtract $100 for the 32G and another $100 for the 16GB.
Im stuck between the two. Actually considering the galaxy s2. Just don’t like the size of the s3. Will wait out and see what comes out of the iPhone 5 though, not having any issues with my 4s yet.
I’m getting the 5 as soon as it’s available. My 3 is dying so quickly. Can’t wait to have a new phone and new plan. Stoked! 
I’ve got the Galaxy S III. I love it. Best phone I’ve ever owned. Battery life is good too. Especially for a phone with such a big screen.
